  1. Heh, you've got it bad :D

That's an excellent typewriter room! I wish I had room for a tRoom, but all I have is a corral set up in a line on the stereo cabinet. Someday...

  2. Great typewriter room! You are very lucky to have the room and a basement (things absent in the houses in FL). My machines get stored in their cases in my radio room and there is no room for neat old office machines.

You have a wonderful collection. I can't wait to see them all and hopefully soon you will hit the century mark.

  3. Ken - thanks for sharing. I am drooling. How much admission to your typewriter world?

  4. Great display and hey, free is good! If you get tired of the Banana Boat theme, you could see if direct to plastic spray paint sticks.

You have many drool worthy typewriters. The Silenta is so choice.

  5. I believe I have said this before, but it bears repeating; You sir, have a quite enviable collection. I see several machines I've been searching for, all congregated in that room. Also, Domo pairs well with that Royal.

Banana Boat logo aside, I quite like the shelves. All the typers on it look like they're at some vertical block party, enjoying themselves. It's very happy-looking. :) Then again, I've always been a fan of yellow.

  6. Woohoo, what a collection! A couple more Olivettis and it'll be perfect. ( :
I like those banana boat shelves, they're funky. In a good way.

  7. Wow. Two Blicks, three Olivers, and a hammond, among many other machines? Definitely jealous over here.

  9. You can still move in your room. That's an advantage.

  10. "Typewriter Porn", indeed!

That's the phrase James always uses whenever he sees me reading through the Typosphere blogs on my list.

After seeing your huge collection, my first thought was: YOU HAVE A VERY UNDERSTANDING WIFE!

  11. Thanks to everyone for the comments! I do enjoy just walking in there and glancing around... I have used up nearly all of the space I can in that room, unless we move those bureaus out...

I appreciate you all taking the time to look through all of this. I was really excited to find some more shelves, and couldn't help but post the results!

  12. Whoa! You have some really neat and unique machines! I only hope Domo does not have a taste for metal.
